Scott County ARES members conduct a training net every Monday evening at 7:00 PM on 146.535 mHz simplex.
The Net Control Station (NECOS) states at the beginning of the net, our purpose is to;
The net is operated as a directed emergency communications net. The net operating procedures have been developed to further our goals of accurate, rapid communications.
Everyone interested in emergency communications is welcome to participate in the net. Listen closely to the directions of the NECOS and check in at the appropriate time. Come and join the fun!
The NECOS duty rotates among Scott County ARES members to provide a training opportunity. The NECOS schedule is shown below.
